# Guide from the customer perspective

The customer or user is the person who creates a ticket in the event of a disruption or similar issue.

Every customer who uses Eliona’s ticketing system receives their own user account with individual login credentials. Through this access, the customer can manage their tickets and create new tickets.

In Eliona’s sidebar, the customer can see the two main items “Tickets” and “Assets.” Under “Tickets,” the customer finds an overview of their open tickets and has the option to create new tickets. “Assets” are the service objects for which the customer can create tickets.

## Manage tickets

In the ticket overview, all of the customer's open tickets are listed. Important information is shown for each ticket, such as the assigned asset, the priority, the responsible service employee, and the reason for the disruption. New tickets can be created using the “+ Ticket” button in the top right.

## Create new ticket

When creating a new ticket, the contact information of the logged-in user is automatically taken over. In the lower half of the form, the customer can enter more detailed information about the problem and attach files. It is important to specify the relevant asset so that the ticket is assigned correctly. A user such as “Leicom Support” is available for assignment.

## Ticket information

By clicking on one of the open tickets, detailed information can be displayed. At the top there is a timeline showing who did what to the ticket and when. In the right half is the comment field, through which the customer can communicate directly with support. In the lower area, tasks can be created within the ticket. A title, a reason, and a description can be added to a new task. Files can also be attached to a task.

## Manage assets

Under “Assets,” all service objects assigned to the customer are listed. Clicking on an asset displays detailed information about the object. Additional information can be shown using the “More info” button. In the top right, there are documents linked to the respective object.
