# Create a new BIM

1. Click the menu item **BIM \[A]**\
   ▷ The BIM overview opens
2. Click on **\[B]**\
   ▷ The window **Upload IFC \[C]** appears
3. Select the asset to which you want to assign the BIM
4. Click on **\[E]**, to upload an .ifc file
5. Click on **Add \[F]**
6. The message **\[G]** appears
7. Click on **Confirm \[H]**\
   ▷ The window **\[G]** will be closed, and the BIM menu will appear
8. Wait a few seconds and reload the page\
   ▷ The added BIM appears in the BIM overview
