# Mute notifications

 Internal notifications are delivered with a sound.

Users can mute internal notifications temporarily or permanently.

Proceed as follows to mute notifications:

1. Click in the title bar on **Notifications \[A]**\
   ▷ The "Notifications" drop-down opens
2. Click on **\[B]**
3. Click the desired option:\
   \&#xNAN;**\[C]** – Mute for one (1) hour\
   \&#xNAN;**\[D]** – Mute for 4 hours\
   \&#xNAN;**\[E]** – Mute for 8 hours

## Unmute

Proceed as follows to unmute notifications:

1. ↺ *Prerequisite:* Notifications are muted\
   Click on the title bar on **Notifications \[A]**\
   ▷ The "Notifications" drop-down opens
2. Click on **\[B]**
3. Click on **\[G]**

## Configure web browser

If notifications are delivered without sound, this may be because your web browser does not have permission to play sounds.

Proceed as follows to adjust the browser settings:
