# Analog input

The "Analog Input" widget combines 3 functions:&#x20;

* Display values
* Set values
* Display analog trends

<div data-full-width="true"><figure><img src="https://content.gitbook.com/content/Nyvwhz1kEMXcHf4HLuZ8/blobs/xLzJSE5w8pgZ4jf9i8MF/7FC7774B-FE5E-459B-856C-9E82DEFFB6A2.png" alt=""><figcaption><p>The "Analog Input" widget with 4 connected assets</p></figcaption></figure></div>

You can link multiple assets with this widget and see the value and an analog trend for each individual asset. You can also set values directly for each individual asset via the widget. &#x20;

{% hint style="info" %}
**Example:**\
You link multiple air conditioning assets to the widget. \
For each individual air conditioner, you see:

* the current or aggregated temperature (value)
* the temperature trend (analog trend)

For each air conditioner, you can set new values directly via the widget.
{% endhint %}
