# Input selection

The "Selection Input" widget combines 3 functions:&#x20;

* Display values
* Select from multiple values
* Display analog trends

You can link multiple assets with this widget and see the value and an analog trend for each individual asset. Via a drop-down menu, you can choose from multiple values for each asset. Which values are available depends on the -> asset type and the corresponding -> value mapping.&#x20;
