# Create a role

### Create new project role

1. Click on «Engineering»
2. Click on «Roles»
3. Click on «Create custom roles»\
   ▷ A window appears
4. Give the role a name
5. Click on Create\
   ▷ The new role appears in the list of project roles.

### Create system role

System roles can only be created by holders of the «System-Owner» system role.

1. Click on «Engineering»
2. Click on «Roles»
3. Click on «+ System role»\
   ▷ A window appears
4. Give the role a name
5. Click on Create\
   ▷ The new role appears in the list of system roles.
