# Asset-Modellierung: Vorlagen erstellen

## Asset-Modelling

**Asset-Vorlagen** sind eine Art **„Blaupause“** für Assets. Sie bestimmen, welche **Attribute** ein Asset hat, wie zum Beispiel **„Temperatur“, „Luftfeuchtigkeit“, „Lichtintensität“ oder die „Anzahl der Personen“.** Diese Attribute definieren die Werte, die mit einem Asset überwacht oder gesteuert werden können.

Wenn Sie [↗ ein neues Asset erstellen](/collection/german/pflichtbasis/assets/create-assets.md), werden Sie aufgefordert, eine **Asset-Vorlage**auszuwählen. Das auf diese Weise erstellte Asset enthält dann alle **vordefinierten Attribute** der Vorlage.

### **Warum Asset-Vorlagen verwenden?**

Assets manuell zu erstellen kann sehr zeitaufwendig sein, insbesondere wenn jedes Asset mit spezifischen Attributen ausgestattet werden muss.

Mit **Asset-Modellierung**, können Sie **Vorlagen für verschiedene Asset-Typen erstellen** und **und sie so oft wiederverwenden, wie Sie möchten**.

### **Beispiel: Rauchmelder**

Ein Gebäude enthält **hunderte von Rauchmeldern**.

* **Ohne Asset-Modellierung**müssten Sie jeden Rauchmelder einzeln erstellen und mit den passenden Attributen ausstatten.
* **Mit Asset-Modellierung**erstellen Sie die Asset-Vorlage „Rauchmelder“ nur einmal. Diese Vorlage enthält bereits alle relevanten Attribute. Wenn Sie nun einen neuen Rauchmelder erstellen, duplizieren Sie einfach die Vorlage und passen nur die **spezifischen Eigenschaften** wie Standort oder ID an.
