# Assign a Role to a User

When a user is invited through ABB Ability™ BuildingPro, the initial role is assigned automatically based on the selected invitation type.

The role can be adjusted in BuildingPro Suites.

1. Click **Engineering \[A]**
2. Make sure the **Tenants \[B]** tab is selected
3. Click on the user whose role you want to adjust **\[C]**

   ▷ The tenant settings open

   ▷ In **\[D]**, you can see all users assigned to this tenant
4. For the user whose role you want to adjust, click **\[E]**

   ▷ The **Edit User \[F]** window appears
5. In **\[G]**, select the role you want to assign to this user.
6. Click **Save \[H]**
