# Niagara

The Niagara integration in BuildingPro Suites allows for the seamless connection of your Tridium Niagara Framework for building automation. Thanks to this bidirectional communication, you can synchronize and visualize control logic, sensor data, and alarms, as well as analyze and automate them in BuildingPro Suites.

The main advantage lies in the automatic synchronization: once you have set up the connection, assets, asset types, and their structure are automatically created and updated in BuildingPro Suites, without any manual configuration.

## Installation and Connection

Setting up the Niagara integration is straightforward and is done in just a few steps:

1. Install the Niagara module: The module is simply downloaded from the BuildingPro Suites App Store and copied to your Niagara system. A separate license for the module is also required.
2. Generate an API Key in BuildingPro Suites: To establish the connection, an API Key must be created in BuildingPro Suites. This key is used for authentication.

After installation, the synchronization runs automatically. This way, your data, controls, and alarms from Niagara are directly available in BuildingPro Suites and can be used for dashboards, analytics, and automations.

For a detailed, step-by-step guide on how to install the module and configure it in BuildingPro Suites, please visit the full documentation in the "Niagara" chapter.
