# Add Links to an Asset

Using "Links," you can attach links to resources on the internet to each asset.

1. Open the [-> Asset Details](https://docs.buildings.ability.abb/collection/mandatory-base/assets/asset-data)
2. Click on **\[A]**

   ▷ The "Add link" window opens
3. Under **\[B]** and **\[F]**, select whether the link should be opened in a new tab.
4. Under **\[C]**, enter a description of the link.
5. Under **\[D]**, enter the URL to the resource.
6. Click on **\[F]** to save

   ▷ The link has been added to the asset.
