# Insight Analytics

In BuildingPro Suites, the term "**Analytic**" is used to refer to any configurable graphical data visualization for your data - see [What is an Analytic?](https://docs.buildings.ability.abb/collection/platform/insight-analytics/what-is-an-analytic) for more detail.

*Insight Analytics* allow you to view and analyze the usage data from energy / resource meters and sensors that are connected in your site, optionally showing how they relate to their targeted usage. 

It can show selected assets, attributes, charts, and data points, and may contain multiple chart plots. 

*Analytic*s may be created using the [Insight Analytics Interface](https://docs.buildings.ability.abb/collection/platform/insight-analytics/the-insight-analytics-interface). 

Specific *Analytic*s may be saved, and used directly in dashboards or smart views with the *Analytics widget*.
