# Trigger

The "Trigger" widget is designed exclusively for use with [-> Oxobuttons \[external link\]](https://www.oxobutton.ch/). When the widget is configured, it shows the current status of the Oxobutton.

<div data-full-width="true"><figure><img src="https://3489494878-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2F9GvUpaatBiReR43XFSMg%2Fuploads%2FrcwF6NEaem83cs7opdgV%2FBildschirmfoto%202023-09-28%20um%2016.06.53.png?alt=media&#x26;token=d81393f1-41e0-4585-8eb8-bc39fcca6876" alt=""><figcaption><p>The "Trigger" widget in the dashboard</p></figcaption></figure></div>

## When should this widget be used?

This widget should only be used if you are using Oxobuttons. Oxobuttons are a good way to get feedback from building users. Building users could, for example, report a dirty room at the push of a button.
