# eCall Services

eCall is a system widely used in Switzerland to send automated SMS and voice messages.

## How it Works

eCall sends SMS and voice messages via email.

{% hint style="warning" %}
eCall is a paid service!
{% endhint %}

## Activate eCall in BuildingPro Suites

To activate the eCall function in BuildingPro Suites, proceed as follows:

{% @supademo/embed url="<https://app.supademo.com/demo/clm08sqoj4o4u1s194myacnrp>" demoId="clm08sqoj4o4u1s194myacnrp" fullWidth="true" %}

### Alarm Grouping

Alarms can also be grouped here as with other notification providers.

[Group Escalations](/collection/platform/platform-core/alert-and-escalation/escalations/group-escalations.md)
{% endcontent-ref %}

## Specify Phone Number

BuildingPro Suites needs to know which phone number the SMS or voice message should be sent to.

A phone number can be stored when creating a user.

You can add the contact details later: Add a user's contact details
