# Customize Notifications

## About This Function

Users can individually determine for which events they want to be notified.

### Customize Notifications

Activate the [↗ switch](https://docs.buildings.ability.abb/collection/preface/user-interface-elements#switches) next to an entry to receive notifications for that item.

Deactivate the switch next to an entry to not receive notifications for that item.

## Overview

## Activate/Deactivate All Notifications

Click on **K** to turn all notifications on or off.

## Restore Standard

Click on **L** to restore the default settings.

## Save Settings

Click on **M** to save all changes you have made.

## Available Types of Notifications

* **A** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Dashboards**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *custom widget* has been created
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *dashboard has been assigned*
* **B** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Alarms**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *alarm has been triggered*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *alarm has been acknowledged*
  3. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *alarm has been acknowledged with a comment in the logbook*
* **C** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Tickets and Tasks**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *ticket has been assigned*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *ticket has been updated*
  3. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *ticket has been commented on*
  4. Activate/deactivate notifications when the *user has been mentioned in the ticket*
  5. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *ticket has been closed*
  6. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *task has been assigned*
  7. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *task has been updated*
  8. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *task has been commented on*
  9. Activate/deactivate notifications when the *user has been mentioned in the task*
  10. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *task has been closed*
* **D** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Rules**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *rule has been updated*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *rule has been deleted*
* **E** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Assets**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *asset has been updated*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *asset has been archived*
  3. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *asset has been restored*
* **F** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Analytics and Reports**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *analytic has been assigned*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *report has been assigned*
* **G** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Smart Assist**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *Smart Assist View has been uploaded*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *Smart Assist View has been assigned*
  3. Activate/deactivate notifications when a new *slider group has been created*
* **H** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **BIM**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a new *BIM asset has been uploaded*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a new *BIM asset has been deleted*
* **I** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Digital Twin**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *new Digital Twin has been created*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *Digital Twin has been deleted*
* **J** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Settings**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *new app is available*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *new app version is available*
* **K** - Activate/deactivate all notifications related to **Engineering**
  1. Activate/deactivate notifications when a *role has changed*
  2. Activate/deactivate notifications when an *escalation channel has changed*
  3. Activate/deactivate notifications when an Asset Template *has changed*
  4. Activate/deactivate notifications when a new package has been placed in the Renzbox
  5. Activate/deactivate notifications when a compartment in the Renzbox is blocked
