## Overview

The proof of concept tested whether an IoT approach could provide better workplace insight and control at a lower total cost than conventional building automation. BuildingPro Suites combines thermal conditions, light, noise, air quality, data collection, trend analysis, and targeted alarms in one environment.

## Solution

Environmental values from several interfaces are evaluated together. Individual climate zones let occupants influence conditions at their workplace, while transparent information helps them understand the current indoor environment. Conventional systems had provided only limited room-level control and little coordination between temperature, lighting, acoustics, and ventilation.

## Business Result

The assessment considered both initial investment and ongoing operation, including monitoring, reporting, usability, and occupant interaction. The IoT solution was estimated to be approximately 25–30% less expensive to purchase and operate than the conventional alternative.

The combination of lower cost, richer data, and direct occupant control provided the business case for examining a broader rollout to office locations worldwide.
